Ok, I’ll bet a dollar to a doughnut he’s gonna walk. Another cop gets off on easy street. Here’s probably what will happen: 500 hours community service, 6 months house arrest because jail is too damned dangerous for cops, charges reduced to a misdemeanor, no registration. Oh, he lost his job? Poor freakin baby and the crooked DA (Google his name)says that’s punishment enough. I think he needs housing restrictions, castration, and signs all over his house, overbearing probation, death threats maybe, you know, to be treated like we are! Welcome to the club buddy!
I totally agree with mch. This double standard/good ol boys club has to stop. This is the land of the free ONLY if your a cop, politicion or not on a registry.
I also wonder how many other cops that investigate sexual assaults are online predators.
If I was a registrant from a case he was involved in, I would look into some sort of appeal that maybe he suppressed exonerating evidence or fabricated indicting evidence.
